New Year’s resolution? We see dollar signs …
Yes, we know, we know … it’s still December and here we are hassling you about setting your New Year’s resolutions.
But why not? Time is a ticking and before you know it you’ll be partying like it’s 2018.
Best to get in early, don’t you think, and set those goals now for a January 1 kick-off!
Dilemmas, dilemmas … what should your resolution be? After feasting at Christmas it’s probably likely you’re considering trying to errrrm … trim the fat … so to speak.
Maybe you want to give up smoking, join a gym, eat more healthily … yada, yada yada …. ummmm BORING!!!
We have a better suggestion. Why not resolve to … wait for it … EARN MORE MONEY!
Now that’s a resolution everyone should embrace. And it’s not about being money hungry or greedy, it’s about living the life you always wanted to lead, being comfortable and having fun.
Yes, we hear you cry. Let’s do it. Where do we start?
Well, you could consider changing jobs, asking for a raise or finding additional part-time employment to boost the coffers.
But wait … that all sounds like such hard work. It’s Christmas, it’s the end of the year and you’re too bone tired to consider any of those suggestions.
So, what next? Let someone else do all the hard work for you, of course.
And who might that person be? DING!! A good financial adviser. Right Answer! You’ve just won yourself a hefty wad of cash in your bank account.
An experienced financial planner will determine a clear strategy to ensure your resolution to make more money (brilliant idea, by the way) is made real and not just a thought bubble waiting to be popped after the excitement of the New Year is over.
There’s no sense letting your celebratory champagne game plan literally fizzle out. Your adviser will ensure the bubbly keeps … well, fizzing … not just throughout 2018 but for many years to come.
And with all that extra money in the bank, who knows, maybe you’ll be able to retire early and that gym membership, eating more healthily, losing weight and being more active will actually become a reality because you can’t make any more excuses not to do so!
